As for everything else that you want to complete in life, there’s gonna be some motivation involved – not necessary much but it got to be there. Motivation can be taught, scientist claims – but by what factor – motivation?? Yes! but not alone, there are other significant elements that develop motivation. You should see motivation as a part of you, grounded deep in within you, but affectet and effected by you psycological state of mind, what cognitive level your at, social background and how you behavior has evolved.

So why motivation?

Well first off – if you as a person, maybe with a mental disorder, and want to make some improvement about a subject, which has reached a standstill. So far everything has been easy and motivation hasn’t been a key factor for success, because the evolution of the subject has been organic (no effort in reality to get to the standstill). Now to move a head, you got to keep a maintaining focus on all that is basic.  This is not hard on the motivation let alone, but your main focus is now the small details – only the details can keep you moving forward towards what ever goal you might have!

Lets use a case – The second best rowing team in the world cant keep up with the best as it is right now. Up until now they have become the second best team by only organic evolution and basic training. But to beat the best team, they have to start focus on not only streching and contracting their arm muscles during training – but also have focus on the grib, the twist in the wrist and a enhanced team plan for communication – all these plus more should the main focus every single minutes this team is out on the water practising. Here the motivation kicks in!

So natural talent can get you far, but if you want to reach full potential, you gotta have motivation!…

Life changing decisions require motivation, without it, forget all about it!..and this is especially the reality for people with mental disorders – why? well a so big change in habits and doings takes time, and a constant focus on not falling back to old procedures is exhausting. But motivation in the right form will help to minimize both physical and psycological pain in this process and give a feeling of success and pleasure when goals are reached.

So motivation is important, yet motivation is very individual and there is no rigth or overall helpfull solution to how you boost the will(motivation) for change. It is however possible to find alot of guides and how to on the web. Joining seminars and seek coaching is a way of learning aswell, but often cost money, therefore be sceptical and use networking to find the best courses and classes….
